What the records establish
Zelenskyy appointed Saakashvili chairman of the Executive Committee of Ukraine's National Reform Council on May 7, 2020. Pushaw reported continuing to work for Saakashvili through November 2020.
Pushaw also pitched a pro-Zelenskyy Saakashvili op-ed in 2019 and published her own favorable article after the 2020 appointment. The latter appears in her DOJ informational-materials submission.
Pushaw's FARA filing states that her objective was to increase Saakashvili's international profile for a future return to Georgian politics.
